This free service is provided primarily for light web browsing and emailing.

You must agree to use it in a legal and responsible manner. We reserve the right to block your access to this service if you breach any conditions below.

Please be aware that Wi-Fi technology is not secure. Wi-Fi communications can be intercepted. We do not guarantee that your communications using this service will be secure, uninterrupted or error free.

Due to the display nature of screens and the likely presence of children and other vulnerable persons within our facilities, a high standard of content suitability is expected.

You agree not to use this service to:

• Visit websites with content which may be objectionable under the Film, Videos and Publications Act 1993. This includes obscene or explicit material such as pornography, torture, cruelty, violence, bullying, exploitation, or encouraging criminal activities

• Annoy, intimidate, or conduct any fraudulent or illegal business or activities, including sending unauthorized advertising or messages

• Use applications or actions which may affect the experience of other Wi-Fi users or the performance of the Service, including the security or integrity of this or any other computer system. This includes distribution of viruses, worms, flooding, and other similar activities of a destructive nature

• Download pirated movies or games

Parents & Guardians of children 15 and under please note:

You should accept these terms on behalf of your child. Your child may accept these terms in your absence however the Council still requires you to accept responsibility for their actions and ensuring they use it in a legal and responsible manner, as per the Summary Offenses Act 1981.

All access is logged and may be provided to law enforcement agencies on request.
